Transaction Description | Founded in 1982, Magema distributes general maintenance products including tools, consumables, machines and personal protective equipment, as well as warehouse fittings, from renowned brands to key accounts in the Benelux market. In addition, the business provides a wide range of value-added services including bespoke foam inlays, torque calibration, laser marking, customised mobile workshops and e-procurement solutions. Magema has an impressive track record and a number of long-standing key account clients across the region. Headquartered in Ter Aar in the Netherlands, Magema has 45 employees and generated a turnover of more than €30 million in 2020. ICFG member Match Plan advised on the sale, which now offers Rubix the opportunity to further develop its capabilities to serve key account customers in the Benelux market. Founder Ruud van Eldik established Magema nearly 40 years ago and following the sale, his three sons will continue their roles on the management team. Patrick van Eldik will be appointed business unit manager and will report to Key Account Director Anton van der Lubbe. |
