Thomas is an Associate Partner at Flair Capital, where he focuses on identifying companies, particularly in the environmental sustainability space, with strong potential for U.S. market expansion. He works closely with clients to guide capital raises, achieve product-market fit, and navigate the complexities of U.S. market entry, including compliance and regulatory matters. Leveraging his background as both an attorney and a former international banker, he brings a deep understanding of cross-border transactions and business structuring.
Experience
Before joining Flair Capital, Thomas worked for more than four years with one of the world’s largest banking groups, advising over 400 companies on their U.S. banking and finance relationships. His expertise in managing complex financial matters is complemented by his unique ability to navigate the cultural and linguistic barriers that foreign companies often face when entering the U.S. market. As a “Third-Culture” individual with American and Danish roots, he seamlessly bridges the gap between European and U.S. business practices.
Education
Thomas holds a B.A. in European Studies and History from UCLA, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He also earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law and is licensed to practice in California.
